Evan Comes Home

Our stay over was a success last night and Evan passed his car sear test with flying colours so our son was discharged from BGH just before noon and has finally come home! We are ecstatic!

His first car ride went well and Evan is already settling into a routine at home. He's eating well, had his first bath at home, and seems to like his little bassinet very much. He has also met all of our pets. Liam, our whippet, is especially interested in Evan and is staying very close to him today. It will be interesting to see how their relationship develops over the next few years!

A big thank you to the nursing staff at the Constant Care Nursery at BGH!!!

  1. Hi all. We're very excited to hear the great news. Your grandma had a big smile on her face when she told me your wee boy had come home. Now the fun begins. I imagine that you are all going to be settled in quite nicely in no time. Evan will certainly be glad to be home with his family (pets included). I'm sure the animals are quite curious right now. Little do they know that they have just met their new best friend! Grandma and I are so pleased that we can get pictures and updates so frequently. Keep them coming. Lots of good wishes to all of you. Grandma And Laurie

  2. Thanks Laurie and Grandma! We're excited to have our little guy home too! Thank you so much for the beautiful shawl and gorgeous stuffed dolphin and killer whale - they go perfectly with our nautical-themed nursery! Can't wait to visit you both this summer!
